Written and produced at the Podcasting, Radio Reporting and Storytelling course at NYU with Daniel Bobkoff. Recorded on the eve of the pandemic, this is a time capsule of recent history. Interviewing tourists, vendors and day trippers on the densely packed Brooklyn Bridge seems like a dream now. The characters we met provide an insight into our world at a turning point. New York City will always be a cornerstone for diversity and people watching – this podcast is a snapshot of the city and the international visitors that it attracts. Loved editing, writing and producing this piece. Done in the style of an NPR report and “slice of life” story. I’m writing, producing and editing a new podcast. Stay tuned!
